Set in the year 1890, First Men on Mars revolves around an investigation into a failed British military expedition to Mars. Events in the hearing and the survivors’ conflicting accounts are each drawn by different artists, including Gary Erskine, Ian Richardson, Mike Collins and Paul McCaffrey. Can the investigating officer unravel these conflicting accounts to discover both the truth behind - and those responsible for - the failed mission, and the secret they are trying to hide?
