SHIFT proudly supports the UK comic marketplace. In recent years there has been an upswing in the number of creator owned titles originating from our tiny little island. From the '77 and Quantum to Dead by Dawn and recently Dark Legacies. There are of course many, many more. A majority of these successes have been made possible because of the fundraising scheme Kickstarter.
One of these series has been John Charles' creation Technofreak. The futuristic adventures of detective and entirely social drinker Jon Sherlok and his ever so slightly bonkers sidekick, the robotic cat Maurice, have been thrilling.
As of this month John is running a kickstarter for a brand new 80 page volume of Technofreak with all new material for fans to enjoy.
With incentive galore from limited edition T-shirt and bespoke sketches available from the array of talented cover artists involved and the chance to own original art this is a Kickstarter well worth checking out.
